Courtyard Room 1

Great location, light, comfortable, clean and easy. Positive: We have stayed at Beachcliff many times - in different rooms. It's always super clean and a great location. Negative: The key code could be communicated more clearly and prominently - you have to actually click on a link to get to it. We got confused with an email from Booking.com which had its own 4 digit pin code. We messaged the team and they sent the right one.

We would expect breakfast to be included for the price. The room itself was overpriced. Positive: The room was good and the courtyard outside where you could have your tea/coffee. Negative: Breakfast wasn't included which was a disappointment. The weather was very warm and although there was a fan in the room there was little in the way of openable windows only one window which tilted slightly inwards. To get more ventilation you had to open the door onto the courtyard all night.

I loved being there. Positive: Everything was so nice. We had a beautiful patio in the back and the beach in the front. Great restaurant just down the elevator Italian. Negative: Nothing

Positive: Good position near promenade, pier, cafes and walks. Negative: Nothing.

A perfect seafront property in Penarth Positive: The check in process went very smoothly with how to obtain keys from the entry key safe. We had room 1 which had a courtyard view. The courtyard is beautifully kept with some lovely planting. The room was very spacious, had a mini fridge, constant hot water, clean crisp bedding and towels. Tea and coffee was replaced daily. Bins emptied daily. A very quiet location right on the beach front. Jas from the property checked in to see everything was ok. There is no reception here but that is not an issue as contact numbers for staff are available if needed. There is a lift to the property via the Italian restaurant below if needed but we generally used the stairs. Flat screen had all the apps you would need during a stay - Netflix, Prime etc. I would definitely stay here again when in Penarth. Negative: WE would have preferred a sea view but our fault as we chose the wrong room when booking.
