Seaview Room 7

Positive: Part of an attractive block of apartments and rooms in Penarth which is a nice coastal area of Cardiff. Good location right on the sea front with views across the Bristol Channel to Somerset. Spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Comfortable bed and decent sized bathroom. It’s on the Welsh Coast Path so it’s possible to walk to Cardiff Bay. Plenty of buses to the city centre. Penarth is quite hilly! Negative: Although the property has no designated parking, and any available space outside is quickly taken, the street behind has plenty of room and is free. Property is above some cafe bars/restaurants so you get some noise but it quietens down at a reasonable hour and sleeping wasn’t an issue.

Positive: View great. Well decorated and clean. Great location. Negative: Bed not overly comfie. Needs blackout curtain.

Negative: after booking I found switching from emails to text and whatsapp a bit confusing, I prfer to just use email

Beautiful location and room, just needs some extra touches Positive: Excellent location and beautiful views. Bed really comfy and lovely bathroom, the balcony a treat. Lovely to have a fridge and water. Lots of tea/coffee. Negative: No shaving light and mirror in the bathroom difficult to use when you are short! Checking in difficulties with messages from booking.com, the hotel and a third one from the owners I believe, but on WhatsApp, email and difficult to keep track. Nobody around to ask about extra pillows as they were very flat. WiFi was awful really needs an upgrade and tv just buffered constantly. No usb points.

Not visited Penarth before – very pretty (beautifully restored pier) and the people are so nice! Positive: Great to wake up by the beach, listening to waves. Negative: -
