Stay in Penarth Positive: Good location and lovely room. Negative: Nothing.

Probably the best sub-£100 stay I've ever had. Positive: Very comfortable and quiet accommodation. Good design flair rarely seen in lower cost hotels, colourful throughout, embroidered curtains, beautifully planted patio garden, filter coffee machine, fridge too. And great light control, from super bright for working, to dimmable bedside lamps. Negative: Address. Thankfully one of the nearby restaurant staff showed me the entrance.

Beautiful. Positive: Loved the room. It was very clean and modern, there was a coffee machine,hair Dryer, iron and ironing board and all the little touches including the fan in the hot weather were so thoughtful. Negative: There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely hotel with a good location for the coastal path Positive: Lovely clean, stylish rooms with nice touches which make it feel non-institutional. Lovely soft throw. Really enjoyed sitting on the ledge by the balcony door looking out over the pretty patio. Lovely location for the coastal path from Penarth to Barry (and beyond) with train back. Negative: Was generally quiet apart from the staff early morning talking loudly which meant I missed the option to lie in. It’s a minor point on an otherwise perfect stay.
